Readers Say Thanks

Glenwood Springs is such an amazing place to live. The kindergartners at Glenwood Springs Elementary School just had the opportunity to have very special interactions with the police station and the fire department. Learning about safe behaviors is such an important lesson early in life. We are very fortunate to live in a community that has such respect for our children and their learning. Glenwood Springs Elementary School is very fortunate to live right around the corner, too.

Riding Institute for Disabled Equestrians wants to thank all of its volunteers and students for coming to Elk Creek Mining Co. in New Castle. The restaurant was filled the whole evening. We want to thank Tina Leyba, Cindy Denison, Aspen Cornucopia, and Tracy Masias for donating the items that were in the drawings. The quilts made by our students and volunteers were priceless.

Thanks to Mike and Connie Stiers for the Broncos tickets in the drawing. We could not do without the community's help in keeping RIDE afloat. The support is needed all year, and having all of you from the community come to eat that night was special.

We appreciate the commitment and time that these businesses have given us through the years. Thank you for making RIDE a success.
