Inactive pending further leads.Warrant arrest: Officers saw Linda Louise Dow, 49, of Rifle, in a vehicle in the 200 block of Railroad Avenue on Nov. 6 at 4:08 p.m. and knew she had several outstanding warrants for her arrest. Dow was contacted and found to allegedly be driving with a revoked license. She was taken to jail.Pot arrest: Police, while assisting a Colorado Department of Corrections parole officer, located several marijuana plants growing in a residence in the 300 block of East First Street on Nov. 7 at 3:42 p.m. John Richard Coalson, 47, of Rifle, did not have the required permits for medical marijuana and was issued a summons.Theft: Officers took a report of theft in the 800 block of South White River Avenue on Nov. 7 at 5:50 p.m. in which a delivery was allegedly stolen from a porch. Inactive pending further information.Warrant arrest: On Nov. 7 at 10:50 p.m., officers contacted Patricia Mojarro Gomez, 33, of New Castle, in the 1200 block of Railroad Avenue for a traffic violation. She was arrested for an outstanding warrant and taken to jail.Speeding: A deputy contacted a vehicle at mile marker 2.5 on Colorado Highway 13 on Nov. 8 at 12:08 a.m. for a speeding violation. The vehicle was subsequently towed for displaying fictitious registration. The driver, Krystal Karlee Wakefield, 26, of Meeker, was issued a summons and released.Restraining order violation: While conducting a traffic stop on East Tamarack Circle in Battlement Mesa on Nov. 8 at 1:03 a.m., a deputy arrested Jerred V. Sanchez, 22, of Parachute, on suspicion of violation of a protection order by consuming/possessing alcohol. He was taken to jail.Warrant arrest: Deputies contacted Alexander Wyscaver-Hartsell, 19, of Parachute, on Silver Queen Circle in Battlement Mesa on Nov. 8 at 6:29 p.m. regarding a warrant. He was arrested for the warrant and issued a summons for possession of less than two ounces of marijuana.Warrant arrest: A deputy contacted Colett Sorensen, 49, of Rifle, in the 600 block of Village Drive on Nov. 8 at 7:39 p.m., who had a warrant for failure to appear on traffic violations. He was arrested and taken to jail.Burglary: On Nov. 8 at 6:11 p.m., police took a report that a residence in the 900 block of West 24th Street had been broken into and items were stolen. Under investigation. She was arrested and taken to jail.Broken window: Officers took a report of criminal mischief in the 2600 block of Apache Court on Nov. 10 at 4:52 p.m. A vehicle's window was broken.Warrant arrest: Deputies contacted a man at 27653 U.S. Highway 6 outside Rifle on Nov. 10 at 2:46 p.m. who had a Garfield County warrant. Kevin Brady Beaver, 30, of Rifle, was arrested and taken to jail.Warrant arrest: Deputies executed an arrest warrant at the criminal justice center, 424 W. 26th St. in Rifle, on Nov. 10 at 9:32 p.m. Karen Boyd Vanthoff, 47, of Glenwood Springs, was arrested and taken to jail.Assault: On Nov. 11 at 1:45 a.m., police responded to the area of West 26th Street and Fairview Heights Court for a reported assault. During the investigation, officers contacted Osbaldo Ruiz, 18, who had an active warrant. He was arrested and taken to jail. He was also charged with minor in possession of alcohol. The assault remains under investigation.Animal neglect: Police responded to a report of animal neglect in the 1500 block of Arabian Avenue on Nov. 12 at 9:26 a.m. Officers issued a summons, and the animals were taken to the Rifle Animal Shelter.Theft: On Nov. 12 at 2:19 p.m., deputies took a report of the theft of a backpack near Rifle. The case remains open pending further information.Pot citation: Deputies contacted a vehicle on County Road 244 outside Rifle on Nov. 12 at 10:47 p.m. and cited the driver, Wade A Yenter, 29, of Rifle, for suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under restraint and possession of marijuana.
