Readers Say Thanks

The Frontier Historical Society would like to publicly thank everyone involved in making our 13th annual Historic Ghost Walk through Linwood Cemetery such a success. We were able to present living history to nearly 600 visitors and locals over the three weekends of performances.

First, our appreciation goes out to all of our talented actors who brought the stories of our pioneers alive: Suzy Alcott, Bob Boyle, Brendan Cochran, John Comerford, Lisa Domer, Lindsey Mills-Hamilton, Paul Hamilton, Merrilee Hindman, Jim Mason, Michael Miller, Patsy Stark, Bob Willey and Cassidy Willey. Thanks, also, to our extras: Bill Kight, Matt Alsdorf and Eric Lamb.

Second, thank you to our amazing tour guides who lead guests up the hill to the cemetery and keep everyone safe and sound: Tony Kornasiewicz, Glenn Vawter, Ed Corcoran, John Gacnik, Jackie Skramstad, Sharon Graves, Roger Hindman, Tom Fleming, Tim Faust, Greg Jeung, Sean Jeung and Jim Hawkins.

Next, our awesome trailhead hosts deserve our thanks for taking tickets, answering questions, serving cider and homemade cookies: Sharill Hawkins, Sandy Stoltzfus, Sue Kuhn, Sharon Haller, Willa Kane, Debra Bosna, Bev Zanella, Bob Zanella, Tom Fleming, Charlotte Cunningham, Nancy Page, Cindy Svatos and Ann Maggard.

Lastly, we would like to thank Connie Lewis for her fabulous poster design, the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association and the local media for assistance with publicity, and to everyone who baked delicious homemade cookies. We couldn't do this without all of you.
