CARBONDALE, Colorado - The Carbondale Police Department is seeking information regarding the possible luring of a child that may have occurred Wednesday afternoon.

Police Chief Gene Schilling emphasized that officers are only seeking information from the public to determine if an incident occurred. There was no police report filed and no evidence at this time to confirm the incident took place.

The alleged incident occurred in the area of Highway 133 and Sopris Avenue. Police have no information on the victim, suspect or possible vehicle used.

The Police Department is seeking information about the alleged victim and a description of a suspect and/or suspect's vehicle.

Anyone with information is asked to contact the Carbondale Police Department at 963-2662.

GLENWOOD SPRINGS, Colorado - Sunlight Mountain Resort will delay its opening day, which was originally set for Friday, Dec. 7. The new opening date will depend on weather and snowfall, said Jennie Spillane, spokeswoman for the resort.
