Gun shot fired at home burglary in Grand Junction

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. - Grand Junction police officer responded to a late evening apartment burglary at 2680 B 1/2 Road #2L.

The incident was reported Monday at 9:30 p.m.While en route to the call, dispatch aired that a single gunshot was fired during the incident.

Officer arrived in the area and checked the apartment. No suspects were located. A victim at the scene reported being fired at but not struck. The suspects fled the scene prior to officers' arrival.

The incident is under investigation at this time. No further information will be released.
