Community News Briefs - Dec. 13, 2012

With a complete project renovation to show off, the new ownership and management of Rifle Creek Apartments, formerly Rimrock Apartments, will hold an open house from 2-5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19, at 3025 Coal Mine Ave. in Rifle.

Renovations began in July, shortly after Rifle Creek Apartments LLC took ownership of the property. All 11 buildings received new windows and paint. The entire property received a landscaping overhaul that included new paved parking lots, sod and landscaping materials, plus a dog park. Unfinished building foundations from the original construction that were unsightly and unsafe were removed and landscaped to create additional open space. Facilities Contracting oversaw the renovations.

Rifle Creek Apartments includes 94 studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom homes. The homes are receiving internal upgrades as well, including new carpet and appliances.

Leases range from $550 to $750 per month. Residents who sign a lease in December will not pay rent until January. Corporate leases are available. For more information, visit www.riflecreekapts. .com.

WingNutz Bar and Grill will once again provide ham dinner packages for families in the Rifle area on Christmas Eve.

We have watched you play the sports you love since you were little boys. It has been such a blessing to watch your skills improve each year, but even more to watch you grow into such special young men.

The last two years have been a wonderful ride, you should be proud. We are.

Thank you team, thank you coaches, thank you parents and fans for your sacrifices. God bless you all. Go Bears!

Carleton and Heather Hoffmeister
