WingNutz will be providing Christmas Ham Dinner packages again this year for families in the Rifle area on Christmas Eve. If you or someone you know would benefit from this dinner this holiday season, please contact WingNutz Bar and Grill at 970-625-9300. Sign up by Dec. 19 as dinners are limited and available on a first-call, first-serve basis. Delivery will be available, if needed, in the Rifle area.

Roaring Fork Rotary Club/Club Rotario and Mr. Christmas are sponsoring a Christmas Tree lot in the Rite Aid Parking Lot (1412 Grand Ave., Glenwood Springs), through Dec. 24. It will be open 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday. Locally hand-made wreaths and trees up to 13 feet tall are available. Proceeds raised will fund Club Rotario scholarships to CMC for the Roaring Fork Valley's high school Class of 2013. Call Michael at 309-1543 for info.

Valley Dynamite All Star Cheer, a local youth nonprofit, is hosting its third annual gift-wrapping fundraiser. Miller Real Estate Investments has donated a space between Target and Pier One for the athletes to raise money for their upcoming trip to Nationals in Anaheim in April. Valley Dynamite is also partnering with Glenwood Springs High School Band to help them raise money for their upcoming college tour. Glenwood Springs High School Advanced Drama students present A Seussified Christmas Carol, an enchanting comedic one-act play that combines the charm of the Christmas spirit with the warmth and humor of Dr. Seuss starting at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 18, at the Jeanne Miller Theatre at the high school. $5 suggested donation.

Preschoolers, ages 3 to 5, and their accompanying adults are invited to the Glenwood Springs Branch Library for a special holiday storytime at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19. We will go caroling in the library and then around the block, including the fire station. Info: 945-5958.

Santa Claus will be at the Rifle Branch Library at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 22. Enjoy a special storytime as Santa reads "Twas the Night Before Christmas." After, kids will have a chance to tell Santa their Christmas wishes and create a Santa craft.

Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 1620 Grand Ave. in Glenwood Springs, is holding two services on Christmas Eve, Monday, Dec. 24, at 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

New Creation Church of Glenwood Springs, 44761 Highway 6 & 24, will host a night of music and celebration on Christmas Eve. There will be candlelight and communion services at 6 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 24.

There will be a traditional turkey or ham Christmas dinner special with all the fixins and choice of pumpkin or pecan pie for dessert at Rivers restaurant, 2525 S.
