Warrant arrest: Officers contacted a 16-year-old Rifle boy at the police department on Dec. 27 at 1:15 p.m. The juvenile had an active municipal warrant for his arrest, so he was later arrested in the 2000 block of Acacia Avenue and released after posting bond. Traffic violations: Police contacted Samuel Eric Smith, 33, in the 400 block of Airport Road on Dec. 27 at 5:29 p.m. for a traffic violation. Warrant arrest: A deputy assisted a Parachute police officer with a call for service in the 200 block of East First Street on Dec. 31 at 2:02 a.m. Travis Michael Misek, 23, of Parachute, was found to have an active warrant for his arrest.
