Warrant arrest: Deputies were called to an address in the Parachute area for a juvenile with a warrant on Jan. 8 at 3:46 p.m. Deputies arrived and arrested the 17-year-old juvenile for a felony nationwide warrant for dangerous drugs, with a $1,500 bond. The juvenile was transported to a youth detention center in Grand Junction.
Gas theft: Deputies responded to a fuel theft on County Road 303 outside Parachute on Jan. 9 at 10:12 a.m. This case is closed pending further leads.
Criminal mischief: Deputies responded to a criminal mischief incident in the 200 block of Blackhawk Trail in Battlement Mesa on Jan. 9 at 3:33 p.m. The case remains closed pending further leads.
Dog at large: Deputies responded to a dog at large in the area of Tamarisk Trail and Blackhawk Trail in Battlement Mesa on Jan. 9 at 3:57 p.m. The owner, Richard Frederick Wille, 64, was issued a summons.
Domestic violence: Deputies learned of a domestic disturbance on East Carson Circle in Battlement Mesa on Jan. 9 at 9:26 p.m. Jamie Lynn Beattie Rials, 27, of Parachute, was arrested on suspicion of domestic violence, third degree assault and first degree trespass. She was taken to jail.
Warrant arrest: Deputies responded to the Garfield County Community Corrections Center on Hunter Mesa Shop Road outside Rifle on Jan. 10 at 11:49 a.m. and arrested Dennis James Cobb, 24, of Rifle, on an active warrant. He was taken to jail.
Theft: Deputies received a report of a theft outside of the Parachute area on Jan. 11 at 8:30 a.m. This case is currently under investigation.
Sex offense: Deputies received information regarding a sex offense in the Parachute area on Jan. 11 at 7:16 p.m. This case is currently under investigation.
Fraud: Deputies responded to a fraud call in the 800 block of West Battlement Parkway in Battlement Mesa on Jan. 11 at 1:17 p.m. After investigation, a warrant was issued and Lea Marie Trickel, 23, of Parachute, was arrested on suspicion of theft, criminal mischief, forgery and resisting arrest. She was taken to jail.
Warrant arrest: Deputies stopped a vehicle near Ponderosa Circle and Monument Trail in Battlement Mesa on Jan. 11 at 6:45 p.m. for a traffic violation. After investigation, the driver, Derick Jackson Samora, 31, of Parachute, was arrested on a warrant out of Rio Blanco County for failure to appear in court. He was taken to jail.
ID theft: On Jan. 12 at 8:26 a.m., deputies learned of a possible identity theft that had originated in the Parachute area. This case is currently under investigation.
Burglary: On Jan. 12 at 7:16 p.m., deputies responded to a burglary in the Silt area. This case is currently under investigation.
Theft: On Jan. 14 at 8:05 a.m., deputies investigated a theft that occurred in the Silt area. This case is still under investigation.
