I want to say a BIG THANK YOU for having the courage to put the picture of a black cat's face on the front page of your the Jan. 11 edition of the Free Press.
That may sound silly, but my husband and I photograph the cats for Roice-Hurst Humane, and black cats seem to have so many unfortunate "negatives" attached to them; it is sad.
So many of them really aren't true! The photo on the cover was my photo of Mr. Truman, and he has turned into a huge, quiet, and somewhat shy, but VERY SHINY cat since I've known him at the shelter.
I hope all the publicity from the front page, to the Roice-Hurst ad, and the write up about the 50th anniversary coming up for Roice-Hurst will bring a family looking for this big softy.
Thank you so much for sharing Truman on your print pages!
