LETTER: Californians, go home

Twenty years ago our state tourist association was sniveling that tourism from California in Colorado was dropping. I told them the reason why that was happening is the Californians had moved here; it was true. They continue to flee their high-tax, over-regulated, liberal-dominated, under-employed, high-cost state with its crumbling moral and personal values (it is more like a foreign country than a state).

So these people move where life is good and government leaves you mostly alone, like: Montana, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, Idaho, New Mexico and Colorado (Texas is next).

But they just cannot help themselves. Rather than adapt and join in on the values and lifestyle of their new state that made it attractive to them, these California immigrants bring the same politics, beliefs and values that they ran from in their trashed out state and like the Pine Beetle ruin the state they move into - it's a foreign invasion and it is very real! This has absolutely happened in Oregon, Washington and most recently in Colorado.
