Heaps and heaps of kudos to the theater team at Central High School. My wife and I had the pleasure of attending their presentation of "Alice in Wonderland" on Saturday evening. It was an absolutely enjoyable experience. The set work and costuming were great but even more so was the acting and presentation.
Had this been presented elsewhere with no indication otherwise, one might not have known that these young adults were of high school age and many of them with little or no experience on the stage. The only minor issue was with the sound system and the diction of a couple of the players which made some of the dialogue hard to hear and/or understand. However, that is a minor point.
The overall experience was a most enjoyable Saturday evening that would otherwise have been spent at home staring at the stupid box or some such other lackluster endeavor. Thank you to all involved in preparing and presenting a most enjoyable production!
Looking forward to others.

(Editor's note: I've seen some great stage productions at Grand Junction High School in recent years and am always impressed at the level of talent and heart that goes into the students' craft. The last Shakespeare play I saw at GJHS, "A Midsummer Night's Dream," the student-actors were so entrancing; they made me forget I was sitting through Shakespeare, which for me has always had a sleep-inducing effect. - TD)
