Readers Say Thanks

The dental office of Dr. Jay Heim and Dr. Corey Johnson would like to thank the community for helping to make our annual Give Kids A Smile Day another success. We appreciate all of the dedication from our community service workers in contributing to the dental health of our local children and families.

Thank you Teri at SES, Claudia at Head Start, Ben at the Family Resource Center, Miss Tiff at Wamsley Elementary, and Marta at Yampah.

A special thank to Dr. Roger Brown for his help with a special circumstance.

We love living and working in such a wonderful community.

Our family is grateful for the love, kindness, cards, calls and food our friends and the community have showered on us during this difficult time. It reaffirms just how much love there is in this valley and the world. We feel blessed. A heartfelt thank-you to all.

During the night on Jan. 15 my family experienced a broken water pipe, which flooded the basement. We appreciated the Glenwood Springs Fire Department's fast response and help turning off the water and making sure there was no fire (from the "hot" smell that came from the furnace fan motor). They offered and proceeded to pump out the one foot of water standing in the basement. They were very professional and friendly and also advised us to call our insurance company right away.

A big, belated thank-you to them and to the neighbors who offered help on that very cold night.
