White Horse Inn Discussion Group will meet beginning Thursday, March 21, at the Base Camp Cafe at 120 E. Third St. in Rifle. Discussions will take place from 6:30-8 p.m. each first and third Thursday evening of the month. The White Horse Inn is a facilitated forum to help Christians to "know what you believe and why you believe it" through conversation. For more than 20 years, White Horse Inn has hosted this conversation on the radio, in print and in discussion groups around the country. All are welcome to join us for insightful and provocative discussion.
The Carbondale Board of Trustees will meet tonight at 6 p.m. in the Carbondale Town Hall, 511 Colorado Ave.
Among the agenda items will be a discussion about the proposed adoption of the Green Commercial Building Code, and about the planned rewrite of the town's land use review codes.
The meeting is open to the public.
The Glenwood Springs Center for the Arts is seeking sculptors and muralists for the sixth annual 2 Rivers Public Art Program in Glenwood Springs. Six sculptures have been purchased as permanent installations. Selected muralists will paint electrical boxes, bridges and barriers throughout the city.
