KAFM ramps up for Spring Member Drive in Grand Junction

KAFM 88.1 is proud to serve as the valley's only locally-owned, all-volunteer community radio station, serving a vital role by providing a place for volunteers to share music, culture and information, thereby fostering a healthy, vibrant community.Every day on KAFM you can hear volunteers from ages 18 to 80 play a wide variety of music from World, Roots, Rock and Reggae, to Jazz and Blues, Bluegrass, Americana, Broadway, Big Band and every genre in between. KAFM is also a place where hundreds of local nonprofits, arts and cultural organizations can promote their mission and publicize their events - at no charge. Every day on KAFM, organizations like the Art Center, Roice-Hurst, Rocky Mountain PBS, Hilltop, Hospice, Mesa County Public Library, the Riverfront Commission, the Audubon Society and so many more utilize the airwaves to get their message out.
