Colorado Wilderness Emergency Medicine Institute (CWEMI) has announced that the Wilderness First Aid (WFA) 16-hour certification course will be offered at the Glenwood Springs Recreation Center. Registration is currently open at www.cwemi. org. Space is limited.

Riding Institute for Disabled Equestrians, located on Silt Mesa, is hoping to start its Friday sessions this year in April. The program needs volunteers to make it successful. Three volunteers per horse ensures a quality program. There will be a volunteer orientation at the end of March. Those interested in volunteering or enrolling a student can call 876-2987.
