Throughout the month, the library invites you to try your hand at writing a poem in various formats using pre-selected words. So, stop by the library, select your words from the Poetic Pockets, use those words in your poem, and then turn in your masterpiece at the front desk to share it with our community.
Is your bike in the garage collecting dust? Does repairing your bike sound intimidating? The Glenwood Springs Branch Library is hosting local bike enthusiast Dan Mickelson, who will present the basics of repairing and maintaining bikes at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 6. And, the library is raffling off two $20 certificates to a local bike shop to help with the more advanced repairs so that you can get back to riding your bike. This is a free program. Space is limited, so sign up early by calling 945-5958 or stopping by the library at 413 Ninth St.
