Silt, Carbondale begin accepting ballots

The town of Silt will be open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, for those who would like to drop off their ballot for the April 1 municipal election.

Ballots will be accepted during regular hours on Monday and until 7 p.m. on the date of the election.

The town is voting on a mayor (two candidates) and three trustee seats (six candidates). Each is for a four-year term.

The town of Carbondale also is accepting ballots at Town Hall Saturday, March 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and Monday, March 31, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Ballots will be accepted on April 1 from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Four candidates are running for three open trustee seats.
