Phat Thai makes the grade

Travel and Leisure online magazine selected Carbondale’s Phat Thai as one of the best Thai restaurants in the United States in its June 2014 edition.

Phat Thai opened its doors in 2003 and specializes in upscale casual Thai food. It is owned by Mark Fischer and Lari Goode, who also operate Town in Carbondale and the award winning Pullman in Glenwood Springs.

The magazine described Phat Thai as “a shameless love letter to Thai cuisine.”

The restaurant opens at 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday, and hosts several local events, including Phat Figures social sketching.
