Cowboy singer/songwriter Brenn Hill returns to Bair Ranch

The Bair Ranch of Glenwood Springs features a return engagement with cowboy singer/songwriter Brenn Hill on Friday, Aug. 15, for a special one-night dinner concert.

Hill, who has recorded 10 albums and resides in Hooper, Utah, is no stranger to Western Colorado having performed at numerous events including Westfest, The Colorado Cowboy Gathering, the Silverton Folk Festival and others. His current release, “Ode To Selway,” gives great insight into the authentic Rocky Mountain West and largely celebrates a lifestyle that honors heritage, the land and livestock. He has been quoted as “one of the Western Community’s most promising young stars” by Billboard Magazine and Texas Cowboy Singer Don Edwards said, “Hill is fast becoming the role model for the next generation of cowboy singer/songwriters.”

Hill’s recording career spans two decades and includes recordings of mostly self-penned music. He is often flanked by some of the industry’s finest road musicians, though he will be performing solo at the Bair Ranch event, which has appropriately been titled “High Country Concert.” It will be an intimate and personal concert in a uniquely beautiful setting at one of Colorado’s oldest working guest ranches.

“We are really excited to have Brenn back in Colorado,” said Jim Bair, co-owner and operator of the Bair Ranch. “His music is about the life and the land that we love, and it will be a perfect fit here at our ranch.”

When asked about his upcoming concert, Hill said, “I’m honored to know the Bair family and to have the opportunity to get back in their neck of the woods. Colorado is a very important part of my music and I have a lot of friends over there that have inspired a lot of my music.”

The event includes a special concert and dinner ticket price of $50 per person and includes a hay ride to the venue. There is a concert-only ticket available for $20 per person that also includes the hay ride, but seating is limited.
