Performing a fun-spirited combination of folk, rock, Cajun and Irish tunes, Acoustic Mayhem will entertain the crowd at Music on the Mountain on Saturday, Sept. 14, at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park. Guests can enjoy the concert, drink specials and a free tram ride up and down the mountain in exchange for a canned food donation to the LIFT-UP food pantry.
Members Elliott Leonard, Craig and Lorraine Curry, Marc Bruell and Dan Rosenthal fuse their guitars, dobro, fiddle, mandolin, bass and drums to get the foundation groovin’ and top it all off with fine vocal harmonies. This concert is sponsored by the Hotel Glenwood Springs.
Cans-for-a-tram rides begin at 4 p.m., and the band performs from 6-10 p.m. The 2013 Music on the Mountain Concert Series concludes its fifth year on Saturday, Sept. 21, with the Missing Link Band.
The Lookout Grille and Snack Shack will be open for dinner and refreshments; drink specials including $3 glasses of wine, $3.50 Coors Lights and Coronas, and $4 well drinks will be available in the plaza. During the event, guests will also be able to experience the newly expanded Historic Fairy Caves Tour, the King’s Row Cave Tour and the park’s rides and attractions with a Funday Pass, just $35 with the free tram ride. It includes both walking cave tours and unlimited access to the Alpine Coaster, the Giant Canyon Swing, the Cliffhanger Roller Coaster, the Mine Wheel, the Wild West Express Coaster, the Soaring Eagle Zip Ride, the Fort WhereAmI Maze, the 4D Motion Theater, the Laser Tag arena, the Speleobox cave simulator, the climbing wall and the Giddy Up!
