MG lovers rally in Glenwood Springs
Here’s a little weekend eye candy for you.
The MG Car Club-Rocky Mountain Centre is holding its 62nd Annual Rallye Glenwood Springs this weekend, what the club says is the oldest continually held time-speed-distance rally in the United States. Post Independent contributor Christopher Mullen caught up with some of the drivers as they got to town Friday afternoon.
MGs are British cars produced starting in the 1920s. “MG” stands for Morris Garage, the original owner. The brand passed through several hands, suspending production in 2005, but is now owned by China’s Nanjing Automobile Group and new models are being produced.
