Ida Lenore Morgan

Ida Lenore Morgan was born on August 14, 1924, in Manitou Springs, Colorado, to George and Gladys James. She was raised in Laramie, Wyoming. A graduate of Laramie High School in 1942, she attended the University of Wyoming. Lenore married M.H. (Dick) Morgan, founder and owner of the then Eagle Valley Telephone Company in 1966, and moved to Eagle. She moved to Creekside Assisted Living in Glenwood Springs where she died in her sleep on April 21, 2015, at the age of 90.

Lenore is survived by four children, Claudia Walker of Centennial, Timothy R (Starla) Quealy of Eagle, Sharolyn A (David) Barton, and Carolyn B. (Michael) Pitman, both of Gypsum. She had 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Services are 11 a.m. Monday, April 27th, at St. Barnabas Episcopal Church in Glenwood Springs.
