Jacquelyn Saunders

Jacquelyn Saunders, 81, of Rifle passed away in Rifle, June 21, 2015. Jacquelyn was a lifetime valley resident. She was born to John and Helen (Fuller) Dix on April 26, 1934, in Greeley, Colorado. On January 1, 1954, she married Frank Saunders. They have three children. Jacquelyn was a member of the United Methodist Church of Rifle and was a member of PEO. She also volunteered many hours to Lift-Up, Rifle Senior Center and many other organizations. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank; her parents, and her brother, Lanny Dix. Jacquelyn is survived by her sons, Brad Saunders and Todd Saunders; her daughter, Stacy Saunders Woods (Husband, Tom). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Linsey, Tyler, Max, Molly, Meg, Dustin, and Nicholas, as well as 14 great-grandchildren. A memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, June 26, 2015, at the United Methodist Church in Rifle, Colorado. Inurnment will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery in Rifle. Reception will follow at the United Methodist Church.
