Obituary: Earl Owens Skiles

Dec. 22, 1945 – May 30, 2013

Born to Albert and Eldora Skiles on Dec. 22, 1945, in Denver. Passed away unexpectedly on May 30, 2013.

Earl was in the Army and served in Vietnam. He had a wonderful sense of humor and never knew a stranger. He would help anyone at any time and will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Sandy; children, Glen (April) Skiles, Greg Skiles, Charlene (Dave) Rogers, Sam (Amy) Boles; 12 grandchildren and siblings; Ed (Wendy) Forrester, Lois Crook, Tom (Alice) Woodrum, Johnnie (Lynn) Pittman and Christy (Ed) Godeski.

Memorial service was held in Denver on June 5, a second memorial service will be held at the Skiles Ranch at Burns at 10 a.m. July 6, followed by a potluck.
