The latest on the Mesa County mudslide

The Mesa County Sheriff’s Office on Thursday updated the public on monitoring the Memorial Day weekend mudslide that is presumed to have killed three men.

Cameras and weather-monitoring equipment have been installed at the site, and scientists are working to evaluate the stability of the slide.

The missing men were Clancy Nichols, 51, who also worked as a county road and bridge employee; his son Danny Nichols, 24; and Wes Hawkins, 46, who worked for the local water district.

Here are videos taken Memorial Day weekend from a helicopter survey of the slide.
