Letter: ‘Expression elsewhere’
February 15, 2017
In her Feb. 12 PI guest opinion, Ms. Jane St. Croix Ireland seeks to absolve abortion guilt through a fanciful belief in killed babies "souls" finding "expression elsewhere." OK, whatever floats your boat, Jane. Personally, I couldn't kill an unborn child of mine, but then Jane never mentioned giving the father any say at all.
If I was extolling the virtues of abortion I'd point out how I was doing my part in not overpopulating the world, at least that sounds a whole lot more plausible than dead baby souls finding "expression elsewhere." Jane ought to thank her lucky stars that her biological mother didn't end her pregnancy because "the time wasn't right."
