Dorothy Ann Cusack

Dorothy Ann Cusack, 82, passed away in Cripple Creek, Colorado, while in Hospice Care, surrounded by family on June 6th, 2016.

Dorothy Ann was born in La Junta, Colorado, on February 27th, 1934, to Geoffrey Urquhart Cusack and Verna Elizabeth Cartwright (both deceased). She graduated from Rocky Ford High School in 1952.

Dorothy Ann is survived by her children: David Wynn Trout, Kevin Lyle Trout, Randalea Elizabeth Milhorn (Ron), Laurie Marie Kelso (Chris James) and Tanya Rae Sebastian-Spannaus (David); 14 grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.

Dorothy Ann has touched many people through her service in the Episcopal Church, St. John’s of New Castle, Colorado, and more recently Chapel of Our Saviour, Colorado Springs. She enjoyed traveling, reading, playing dominoes, attending Eastern Star and Rebecca’s events, volunteering for the Republican Party and MOPS, and most of all spending time with her beloved family.

The family would like to thank CU Health’s Arielle Furtado and Dr. Ann Mellott, Prospect Hospice, the staff at Village at Skyline, Synergy HomeCare, and Pikes Peak Hospice Care for their assistance and support.

A Memorial service will be held at Chapel of Our Savior Episcopal Church in Colorado Springs, Co, Friday July 1st at 1 p.m.
