Hung up in the canyon

A semi-tractor trailer straddles the barrier between the westbound and eastbound lanes after sliding out of control on westbound Interstate 70 in Glenwood Canyon Monday morning. The crash resulted in a more-than 12-hour-long closure of I-70 in both directions through the canyon. The driver of the semi, Osvon Raffington, 28, out of New Jersey, was cited for careless driving. It was the third time in four days that I-70 travelers had to endure a lengthy closure due to a semi truck crash.
