Wild Coffee Roasters’ 10-year celebration draws crowd and praise

Wild Coffee Roasters, a Silt-based coffee shop, celebrated its 10-year anniversary Friday with cake, coffee and festive decorations. The event featured demonstrations on coffee roasting and cupping, making for a lively celebration of how far owner Misty Kearns has come in growing the business alongside her partners and friends.

The central mountains of Colorado, including Aspen, are currently experiencing a snowpack that is only 42% of the seasonal average, a dramatic shortfall that is already producing consequences for river flows, drought conditions, and fire risk across the region.
