Glenwood Springs Fourth of July Celebration
What: Stop by Two Rivers Park in Glenwood Springs for the city’s iconic Independence Day celebration on July 4. The family-friendly event includes bounce houses, lawn games, mechanical bull riding, food and beverage vendors, live music at 5 p.m. and a laser show around 9 p.m.

July First Friday – Independence Day
What: Head to Carbondale’s Creative District for a festive community celebration of Independence Day. Events include the Sopris Music Festival hosted by Steves Guitars from 5-9 p.m. in Chacos Park, which features musicians including Mitt Spicy and the Blues Bandits, the Hell Roaring String Trio, Aggie Flores and Dan Sheridan. This First Friday will also feature food trucks, community booths and activities, busker Olive the Bard and Typewriter Poetry by Rachel Leigh Cohen.

KDNK First Friday Freedom Skate
What: Lace up your skates and don your red, white and blue for KDNK Radio’s First Friday Freedom Street Stake in Carbondale. Participants can skate around Main Street and Second Street while KDNK DJs, including DJ CAMO, Professor YaYa and Jeeradoe S., spin tracks live, providing the perfect background music for an evening of outdoor skating.

Clay and Moonlight – CCC’s Annual Summer Fundraiser
What: Enjoy the picturesque scenery of the Spring Creeks Ranch in Carbondale while supporting the Carbondale Clay Center’s community arts program. This year’s fundraiser features a keynote presentation by Doug Casebeer, live performances by Mt. Cirque Entertainment, a catered dinner by the Supply Collective, a paddle raise, silent auction and handmade ceramic cups for each guest.
When: 6-9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 5
Where: Spring Creeks Ranch, 644 Cowen Drive, Carbondale

Music Under the Bridge
What: Kick off your weekend with free family friendly concerts hosted underneath the Grand Avenue Bridge from 4:40-7:30 p.m.. Saturday’s free concert will kick off the annual weekly free concert series that highlights local talent. The series begins on the 27th and will run through Sept.10th. The seating at Bethel Plaza is limited and patrons are encouraged to bring lawn chairs. The Low End Collective will kick off the 2025 concert series on Saturday, June 21.

Hilltop Concert Series
What: Head to Rifle’s Bookcliffs Arts Center each Sunday for the family-friendly Hilltop Concert Series, featuring some of Western Colorado’s best local musicians.

Market on 7th
What: The farmers market is back in action in 2025 with the Market on 7th. 7th street from Cooper to Colorado Avenues will be closed every Tuesday through Sept. 2 from 4-8 p.m., as local vendors and artists get a chance to shine. While getting the chance to support local businesses and produce, visitors will be able to enjoy live music, find homemade snacks and treats, and soak up the beautiful downtown Glenwood Springs area.

Movie in the Park
What: Enjoy the outdoors while watching Moana 2 at Veterans Park during Silt’s Movie in the Park series.

Rifle Farmers Market
What: Rifle’s seasonal farmers market features an array of fresh products from artisan food vendors and local farms. Live music, a children’s area, playground equipment and more contribute to a family-fun outing that’s more than just a market.

Dixie Longate Tupperware Party
What: Fast-talking, ginger performer extraordinaire Dixie Longate returns to the Thunder River Theatre Company’s program for one last show on Saturday, July 12 before her upcoming retirement. Dixie’s tupperware parties are interactive and bursting with humorous and personal stories. This is not your grandma’s tupperware party, and the show features content with adult themes.
When: 6 p.m. Saturday, July 12
Where: River Valley Ranch, 66 Heritage Court, Carbondale
