CARBONDALE — The CCAH’s R2 Gallery and Artique celebrates September’s First Friday Artwalk, marking the second installation of CCAH’s current exhibition, “Square Footage: Art In Redux.” Artists participating in the show will have reduced their original installation to fit in a square foot area reduced by 50 percent. CCAH: The Artist Beat: “Square Footage: Reduction #2” and Dance Performance
CARBONDALE — CCAH concludes the “Square Footage” exhibition with a special Artist Beat event. Participating artists have installed sculptural work within a designated amount of square feet that has been reduced by 50 percent on two occasions over the course of show, requiring the artists to respond. During this event, the installations will be in their final stages. A dance performance by the dancers of CoMotion starts the event, followed by an artist walkthrough with explanations of each process.
