Aspen Music Festival and School accepting applications for summer programs
Register and apply for Maroon Bel Canto Children’s Chorus Festival Summer Camp and P.A.L.S. (Passes and Lessons Scholarship) program, mark your calendar for Sing Play Move
Aspen Music Festival and School has opened the registration and application period for its Maroon Bel Canto Children’s Chorus Festival Summer Camp and Passes and Lessons Scholarship Program. Registration for the early childhood music education program Sing Play Move opens in April.
Maroon Bel Canto Children’s Chorus Festival Summer Camp is open to students entering fourth through eighth grades. It runs July 31 to Aug. 4 and costs $200. Participants will learn vocal technique, perform a finale concert and observe AMFS artists. Register at aspenmusicfestival.com/mbcccsummercamp.
P.A.L.S. runs eight weeks, from June 29 to Aug. 20, and offers students in grades six through 12 private lessons and focused music-education activities. Each participant will receive 10 private lessons and a P.A.L.S. pass to the music festival. Application deadline is May 3. Students entering first through fifth grades can participate in Little P.A.L.S., which will offer them five private lessons and other classical music activities. Registration for these programs is available at aspenmusicfestival.com/pals.
Sing Play Move offers morning and afternoon classes, limited to 12 students each, July 24 to Aug. 4. Registration opens in April at aspenmusicfestival.com/singplaymove.
