Battle of the Bands

The Post Independent’s Battle of the Bands contest’s entry period has ended, and the voting period has begun.

Sixteen hopeful bands submitted video auditions, and the public will play a role in choosing the seven winners who will perform at Strawberry Days and win cash prizes.

Visit bit.ly/1DARugP to view all the submissions and vote for your favorite. You can vote once per day from now until April 30.



The bands in the running are Social Altitude, Wink and the Signal, 4 Ohms, The Logan Brothers, BnB, Wall of the Fallen, Simple Revolution, Exit 90, Manic Acts, Bicycle Annie, The Kyleah Mae Band, Sol Patrol, 4am, Big Dog and the Midnight Badgers, Crosley Hotshot and Ghost Pepper.

The first place band will win $1,000; second will win $700; third will win $500; fourth will win $400; fifth will win $350; sixth will win $300; and seventh will win $250.
