Kiss your friends, don your best green, and bring on the craic (that means fun and enjoyment in Gaelic, FYI): Tuesday, March 17, is St. Patrick’s Day.

Here are a selection of activities scheduled around the Grand Valley in celebration of this fun, Irish tradition.

KANNAH CREEK & EDGEWATER

Kannah Creek Brewing Company (1960 N. 12th St., Grand Junction) and Edgewater Brewery (905 Struthers Ave., Grand Junction) will host an all-day Irish celebration on Tuesday, March 17,. It will feature a costume contest, Irish-inspired food, and drink specials.

According to Kannah Creek’s spokeswoman Katlin Birdsall, Crossed Irons Irish Ale will be on tap along with Black’s Bridge Stout on nitrogen — which is “great for car bombs.”

Kannah Creek will also offer an Irish whiskey flight.

Both locations will offer a $25 gift card drawing for those who show up wearing lots of green.
