Come catch a wild salmon at Glenwood Farmers Market

Staff Report

As summer brings the month of August, the Glenwood Farmers Market brings Kaleb’s Katch and his sustainably caught wild Alaskan salmon and halibut. Kaleb offers fillets, steaks and patties to take home. Grilled salmon wraps allow shoppers to enjoy Kaleb’s Katch while at the market in the Rite-Aid parking lot from 7:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays.

Fresh food offerings at the market include freshly dug potatoes, turnips, greens, garlic, canned vegetables, summer squash, onions, rhubarb and local apricots.

Also available are honey, homemade bread, frozen grassfed beef, ready-to-eat barbecue brisket and pork, beeswax candles and organic jam.
