Comedian Deacon Gray returns to Glenwood Springs
Nationally recognized stand-up comedian Deacon Gray performs at the Glenwood Vaudeville Revue this Thursday.
Doors open at 7 p.m. for an 8 p.m. show, with tickets at $25 a person and a full dinner menu and bar extra.
Gray is a 30-year comedy veteran who has performed at the Aspen Comedy Festival, the High Plains Comedy Festival and was the winner of the inaugural Great American Comedy Festival, held at the Johnny Carson Theater. He released his first comedy album, “Revival (of the Fittest)” in 2011 and has been named “Best Comedy Guru” by Westword. He has become a Comedy Works favorite having opened for the likes of Dave Chappelle, Drew Carey and Chris Rock.
Being raised by a preacher, Gray has a fun and unique take on being the only comic in his family. He was last at the Vaudeville in 2014 as part of the Revue’s comedy series, which takes place monthly fall through spring.
