There is plenty of music scheduled this week in Colorado’s Grand Valley, including rock and folk between Aug. 28 through Sept. 3.
Flat Top Reed will perform at Ale House (2531 N. 12th St., Grand Junction) on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 5-8 p.m. The show is free and open to all ages.
You Knew Me When will perform on Thursday, Sept. 3, at 5 p.m. The show is free and open to all ages.
Bost Family Traditions will perform on Friday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m. at Cavalcade (201 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita). The show is free and open to all ages.
A weekly blues jam is set for every Tuesday night at Charlie Dwellington’s (103 N. First St., Grand Junction) from 7-10 p.m. It includes open-play sessions and performances by the host band. The event is free.

COPPER CLUB BREWING COMPANY
Buzzard Swamp String Band will perform at Copper Club Brewing Company (233 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita) on Friday, Aug. 28, at 5 p.m. The show is free and open to all ages.
No Outlet will perform on Friday, Aug. 28, at Cruisers (715 Horizon Dr., Grand Junction).
Toaster will perform on Saturday, Aug. 29.
The shows start at 9:30 p.m., cost $5 and open to ages 21 and older.
HOT TOMATO PIZZERIA
The Williams Brothers Band will perform on Friday, Aug. 28, from 6-8 p.m. at Hot Tomato Pizzeria (124 N. Mulberry St., Fruita). The show is free and open to all ages.
Ellen Stapenhorst will perform on Saturday, Aug. 29, from 1-4 p.m. at Garfield Estates (3572 G Road, Palisade). The show is free and open to all ages.
GRAND JUNCTION HIGH SCHOOL
The Theatre Project presents Cabaret on Friday and Saturday, Aug. 28-29, at Grand Junction High School’s auditorium (1400 N. Fifth St., Grand Junction). Friday’s performance is set for 7 p.m. and Saturday’s performances are at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and students. The show is rated R due to adult situations.
JAMES M. ROBB STATE PARK
Los Lonely Boys will perform on Wednesday, Sept. 2, at 7:30 p.m. at James M. Robb Colorado State Park in Fruita (595 Highway 340). The show is free but have a processing fee with tickets online at http://www.ticketwest.com or at a local City Market. Tickets will not be available at the door.
WINE COUNTRY INN
Vintage Voltage will perform at Wine Country Inn (777 Grande River Dr., Palisade) on Friday, Aug. 28, at 7 p.m. The show costs $5 for non-hotel and non-restaurant guests.
