Many performances are planned throughout the Grand Valley, featuring a variety of music styles — from classical to rock — between April 10-16.

AVALON THEATRE

Bookcliff Barbershop Harmony Chorus will present “Grand Valley’s Got Talent” on Saturday, April 11, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. Tickets cost $15 for adults and $10 for students.

Lincoln Brewster and Cloverton will perform at Avalon Theatre on Monday, April 13, at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $20 and open to all ages.

BARONS

In the Whale and Tight Thump will perform on Saturday, April 11, at 9:30 p.m. at Barons (539 Colorado Ave., Grand Junction). Tickets cost $5 and open to ages 21 and older.

CAVALCADE

Cavalcade (201 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita) will host a variety show on Saturday, April 11, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $5 for students.

CHARLIE DWELLINGTON’S

A weekly blues jam is set for every Tuesday night at Charlie Dwellington’s (103 N. First St., Grand Junction) from 7-10 p.m. It includes open-play sessions and performances by the host band. The event is free.

COLORADO MESA UNIVERSITY

Percussion ensemble and jazz combos will be performed on Friday, April 10, at Colorado Mesa University’s Love Recital Hall (1100 North Ave., Grand Junction). The show is set for 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $10 for adults $8 for seniors and $5 for students.

COPPER CLUB BREWING COMPANY

Buzzard Swamp String Band will perform at Copper Club Brewing Company (233 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita) on Friday, April 10, at 7 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.

Copper Club will also host an acoustic jam night every Thursday starting at 7 p.m. Bring the mando, banjo, or guitar to jam with friends. If you don’t play an instrument, just sit back, relax and listen to the music with a brew. All musical levels are welcome.

CRUISERS BAR

Forest Buetel will perform at Cruisers Bar (715 Horizon Dr., Grand Junction) on Friday, April 10, at 9:30 p.m.

The Jacob Christopher Band will perform on Saturday, April 11, at 9:30 p.m.

The shows cost $5 cover and for ages 21 and older.

Tony Rosario will perform on Saturday, April 11, at 8:30 p.m. at Enzo’s Pizza Shack, located at 3235 Interstate 70, in Clifton. The show is free and open to ages 21 and older or with an adult.

Grand Junction Music Teachers Association will present their students in two concerts featuring American Composers at the First United Methodist Church, located at 522 White Ave., in Grand Junction. The event is set for Saturday, April 25, at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The show is free and open to the public.
