Many performances are planned throughout the Grand Valley, featuring a variety of music styles — from classical to rock — between April 3-9.

ALE HOUSE

Goodman Band will perform on Friday, April 3, at 9 p.m. at The Ale House (2531 N. 12th St., Grand Junction). The show is free and open to ages 21 and older.

Tony Rosario will perform on Wednesday, April 8, at 8:30 p.m. The show is free and open to ages 21 and older.

CAVALCADE

Alycia Vince Jazz Trio will perform at Cavalcade (201 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita) on Saturday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $15 per person.

CENTRAL STATION

Jay Ketchem will perform at Central Station (2993 North Ave., Grand Junction) on Saturday, April 4. The show starts at 8:30 p.m. It is free and open to ages 21 and older.

CHARLIE DWELLINGTON’S

A weekly blues jam is set for every Tuesday night at Charlie Dwellington’s (103 N. First St., Grand Junction) from 7-10 p.m. It includes open-play sessions and performances by the host band. The event is free.

COLORADO MESA UNIVERSITY

Opera Scenes performed by Mesa Experimental Theatre is set for Friday and Saturday, April 3-4, at 7:30 p.m. both days. The shows are free and open to all ages.

Duo Dolce will perform on Monday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m. Duo Dolce features Kristen Yeon-Ji Yun, cello, and Pheonix Park-Kim, piano.

Dr. Hsiang John Tu will perform Morbidity and Triumph: The Autumnal Works by Frederic Chopin on Wednesday, April 8, at 7:30 p.m.

Tickets cost $10 for adults $8 for seniors and $5 for students for Duo Dolce and Dr. Tu performances.

COPPER CLUB BREWING COMPANY

Harry Harpoon will perform on Friday, April 3, at Copper Club Brewing Company (233 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita). The show is set for 6 p.m.

AJ Fullerton will perform on Saturday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m.

The shows are free and open to all ages.

Copper Club will also host an acoustic jam night every Thursday starting at 7 p.m. Bring the mando, banjo, or guitar to jam with friends. If you don’t play an instrument, just sit back, relax and listen to the music with a brew. All musical levels are welcome.

CRUISERS BAR

Jon Schieszer will perform a comedic skit on Wednesday, April 8, at 8 p.m. The show costs $7, and it is open to ages 21 and older.

KAFM RADIO ROOM

Lipbone Redding will perform at KAFM Radio Room (1310 Ute Ave., Grand Junction) on Thursday, April 9, at 7:30 p.m. The show costs $20 at the door or it is free with a paid pre-pledge of $60 or more. Limited seating is available.
