Many performances are planned throughout the Grand Valley, featuring a variety of music styles — from classical to rock — between Feb. 27 and March 5.

AVALON THEATRE

Rodney Carrington will perform on Friday, Feb. 27, for two shows, one at 7 p.m. and another at 9:30 p.m. The show is set for Avalon Theatre (659 Main St., Grand Junction). Tickets for online sales are sold out. A limited amount of tickets are available at Andy’s Liquor Mart at 922 N. First St., in Grand Junction.

CAVALCADE



The Navigators will play at the Cavalcade (201 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita) on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 7:30-9 p.m.. Tickets are $10 at the door, welcoming all ages. Seating is limited.

CENTRAL STATION

Jay Ketchem will perform at Central Station (2993 North Ave., Grand Junction) on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 7 p.m. It is open to ages 21 and older.

CHARLIE DWELLINGTON’S

A weekly blues jam is set every Tuesday night at Charlie Dwellington’s (103 N. First St., Grand Junction) from 7-10 p.m. It includes open-play sessions and performances by the host band. The event is free.

COPPER CLUB BREWING COMPANY

Tony Rosario will perform with Alycia Vince at Copper Club Brewing Company (233 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita) on Friday, Feb. 27, at 7 p.m. The show is free and open to all ages.

Copper Club will host a poetry reading on Wednesday, March 4, at 7 p.m. The four poets that will be reading include Charles Potts, Kyle Harvey, Art Goodtimes, and Danny Rosen. The event is open to all ages and is free to the public.

Copper Club will also host an acoustic jam night every Thursday starting at 7 p.m. Bring the mando, banjo, or guitar to jam with friends. If you don’t play an instrument, just sit back, relax and listen to the music with a brew. All musical levels are welcome.

CRUISERS BAR

Bicycle Annie will perform at Cruisers Bar (715 Horizon Dr., Grand Junction) on Friday, Feb. 27, at 9:30 p.m.

Tight Thump will perform on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 9:30 p.m.

The shows are open to ages 21 and over; admission is $5.

LE ROUGE

Will Whalen will perform on Friday, Feb. 27, at 8 p.m. at Le Rouge (317 Main St., Grand Junction). The show is free and open to all ages.

MESA THEATER

Flyleaf, Adelitas Way, and Framing Hanley will perform on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 7:30 p.m. at Mesa Theater (538 Main St., Grand Junction). Tickets cost $21 in advance or $25 at the door. It is open to all ages.

KingShifter and Hangmans Joke will perform on Sunday, March 1, at 8 p.m. Tickets cost $5 and it’s free for students. It is open to all ages.

Zion I, Los Rakas, Locksmith, and Extra Kool will perform on Tuesday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $16 in advance or $20 at the door. The show is open to all ages.

One-Eyed Doll will perform on Wednesday, Feb. 4, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $8 in advance or $12 at the door. It is open to all ages.

DATSIK will perform on Thursday, March 5, at 8:30 p.m. Tickets cost $25 in advance of $30 at the door. The show is open to ages 16 and older.

ROCKSLIDE BREWERY AND RESTAURANT

JACK + JILL will perform on Saturday, Feb. 28, at Rockslide Brewery and Restaurant (401 Main St., Grand Junction) at 10 p.m. The show is open to ages 21 and older.

Shea Bramer will perform every Thursday at Rockslide Brewery and Restaurant (401 Main St., Grand Junction) from 9 p.m. to midnight. The show is free and open to ages 21 and over.

Shea Bramer will perform every Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at SpringHill Suites, located at 236 Main St. in Grand Junction. The show is free and open to all ages.

SUDS BROTHERS

Jim Moran will perform on Friday, Feb. 27, at Suds Brothers (127 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita) from 7-9 p.m.

Ken Miller will perform on Saturday, Feb. 28, from 7-9 p.m.
