Music this week: Mount Orchid, Chris Epic, Led Stetson Band & more in Colorado’s Grand Valley
There is plenty of music scheduled this week in Colorado’s Grand Valley, including rock and folk between July 17-23.
Clyde McGee will perform at Cavalcade (201 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita) Saturday, July 18, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $5 at the door, and the show is open to all ages.
Matt Griffith will perform on Wednesday, July 22, at 7:30 p.m. The show is free and open to all ages.
Flat Top Reed will perform on Friday, July 17, at Cruiser’s Bar (715 Horizon Dr., Grand Junction).
Jersafunk will perform on Saturday, July 18.
Shows start at 9:30 p.m. Both events are open to ages 21 and older and cost $5.
COLORADO MESA UNIVERSITY
A pair of Colorado Mesa University music students are bringing Icelandic folk band Árstíðir (Arstidir) and Brooklyn piano-violin duo Gracie and Rachel to the Moss Performing Arts Center Recital Hall (1100 North Ave., Grand Junction) at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 17.
Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at http://www.brownpapertickets.com or at the door.
Big Head Todd and the Monsters will perform on Tuesday, July 21, at 6 p.m. at Edgewater Brewery (905 Struthers Ave., Grand Junction). Tickets cost $37 in advance or $45 at the door. It is open to all ages.
FRUITA CIVIC CENTER PARK
Cleason-Dunn-Wright will perform on Thursday, July 23, at 7:30 p.m. at Fruita’s Civic Center Park (325 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita). The show is free and open to all ages.

HOT TOMATO PIZZERIA
Catherine Feeney and Chris Johnedis will perform at Hot Tomato Pizzeria (124 N. Mulberry St., Fruita) on Friday, July 17, from 7-9 p.m. The show is free to attend.
Mount Orchid will perform on Saturday, July 18, at The Local (336 Main St., Grand Junction) starting at 10 p.m. The show is free and open to ages 21 and older.
Chris Epic will perform on Saturday, July 18, at 10 p.m. at Sabrosa (122 S. Fifth St., Grand Junction). The show is free and open to ages 21 and older.
Filthy Still will perform on Tuesday, July 21, at 10 p.m. The show is free and open to ages 21 and older.
Jacob Christopher Band will perform on Friday, July 17, from 7:30-10:30 p.m. at Thunderstruck Valley (436 Main St., Grand Junction).
Southern Drawl will perform on Thursday, July 23, from 7-11 p.m.
The shows are free and open to all ages.
TWO RIVERS WINERY
Bryan Savage will perform on Tuesday, July 21, at 7 p.m. at Two Rivers Winery (2087 Broadway, Grand Junction). Tickets cost $15 and open to all ages. Attendees are encouraged to bring a lawn chair and snacks. Wine will be available to purchase by the glass or bottle.
WINE COUNTRY INN
Led Stetson Band will perform at Wine Country Inn on Friday, July 17, starting at 7 p.m. The show costs $5 for non-hotel and non-restaurant guests.
