Music this week: The Boys of Summer, Riders in the Sky, King N’ Trio & more to perform

There is plenty of music scheduled this week in Colorado’s Grand Valley, including rock and folk between July 24-30.

AVALON THEATRE

Riders in the Sky will perform at Avalon Theatre (645 Main St., Grand Junction) on Saturday, July 25, at 7 p.m. Tickets cost $20-$35.



BARONS

The Sideshow Tragedy will perform on Wednesday, July 29, at 10 p.m. at Barons (539 Colorado Ave., Grand Junction).



The show is free and open to all ages.

CAVALCADE

SHEL will perform at Cavalcade (201 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita) on Monday, July 27, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets cost $15, and the show is open to all ages.

COPPER CLUB BREWING COMPANY

We Speak Imaginese will perform on Friday, July 24, at 8 p.m. at Copper Club Brewing Company (233 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita). The show is free and open to all ages.

CRUISERS

Dave Mensch will perform at Cruisers (715 Horizon Dr., Grand Junction) Friday, July 24.

Gerry Goodman will perform on Saturday, July 25.

Shows start at 9:30 p.m., open to ages 21 and older and cost $5.

CHARLIE DWELLINGTON’S

A weekly blues jam is set for every Tuesday night at Charlie Dwellington’s (103 N. First St., Grand Junction) from 7-10 p.m. It includes open-play sessions and performances by the host band. The event is free.

CROSS ORCHARDS HISTORIC SITE

King N’ Trio will perform on Friday, July 24, at 7 p.m. at Cross Orchards Historic Site (3073 F Road, Grand Junction). Tickets cost $25 per person. Proceeds benefit Museum of Western Colorado.

FRUITA CIVIC CENTER PARK

Flat Top Reed will perform on Thursday, July 30, at 7:30 p.m. at Fruita’s Civic Center Park (325 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita). The show is free and open to all ages.

GRANDE RIVER VINEYARDS

Kahuna Beach Party Band will perform on Saturday, July 25, at 7:30 p.m. The event is set for Grande River Vineyards (787 Elberta Ave., Palisade). Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 at the door. Proceeds benefit Homeward Bound of the Grand Valley.

HOT TOMATO PIZZERIA

Free The Honey will perform on Friday, July 24, from 7-9 p.m. at Hot Tomato Pizzeria (124 N. Mulberry St., Fruita). The show is free and open to all ages.

JAMES M. ROBB STATE PARK — FRUITA

Robert Earl Keen will perform on Wednesday, July 29, as part of the Riverfront Concert Series. The show starts at 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased at http://www.Ticketswest.com or any local City Market.

Hibbity Dibbity will perform on Friday, July 25, at 10 p.m. at The Local (336 Main St., Grand Junction).

WESTERN COLORADO BOTANICAL GARDENS

The Boys of Summer will perform at Western Colorado Botanical Gardens (655 Struthers Ave., Grand Junction) on Saturday, July 25, from 6-8 p.m. Tickets cost $15 per person.

WINE COUNTRY INN

Gerry Goodman will perform on Friday, July 24, at Wine County Inn (777 Grande River Dr., Palisade). The show starts at 7 p.m. and costs $5 for non-hotel and non-restaurant guests.
