Many performances are planned throughout the Grand Valley, featuring a variety of music styles — from classic to rock — between May 8-14.
Sherpa Sherpa will perform at The Ale House (2531 N. 12th St., Grand Junction) on Saturday, May 9, from 5-8 p.m. The show is free and open to all ages.
A weekly blues jam is set for every Tuesday night at Charlie Dwellington’s (103 N. First St., Grand Junction) from 7-10 p.m. It includes open-play sessions and performances by the host band. The event is free.

COLORADO MESA UNIVERSITY
The Symphony Orchestra will perform at Colorado Mesa University’s Robinson Theatre (1100 North Ave., Grand Junction) on Friday, May 8, at 7:30 p.m.
The Windy Symphony will perform on Monday, May 11, at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for seniors, faculty and staff and $5 for students.
Timber! will perform on Friday, May 8, at 9:30 p.m. at Cruisers Bar, located at 715 Horizon Dr. in Grand Junction.
No Outlet will perform on Saturday, May 9, at 9:30 p.m.
The shows cost $5 and open to ages 21 and older.
KAFM RADIO ROOM
Big Water will perform at KAFM’s Radio Room on Saturday, May 9, at 7:30 p.m. The Radio Room is located at 1310 Ute Ave. in Grand Junction.
Tickets cost $15 in advance or $20 at the door.

Tuck-N-Roll will perform at Palisade Brewing Company (200 Peach St., Palisade) on Friday, May 8, from 7-10 p.m. The show is free and open to all ages.
Miss Emily and Project Groove will perform on Sunday, May 10, from 1-4 p.m. The show is free and open to all ages.
Dualakoo will perform on Saturday, May 9, at 10 p.m. at Rockslide Brewery (401 Main St., Grand Junction). The show is free and open to ages 21 and older.

Aspen Santa Fe Ballet is dissolving its dance company, the nonprofit announced Monday citing challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. It will launch the Aspen Santa Fe Ballet Fund for Innovation in Dance and continue education programs in its Colorado and New Mexico dance schools.
