MALE VOCALISTS WANTED

Grand Junction Rockestra is seeking two male vocalists to join their Rock & Roll team. Auditions are set for Saturday, May 2, at Moss Performing Arts Center at Colorado Mesa University (1100 North Ave., Grand Junction). Dave Mensch will perform on Saturday, May 2, from 7-10 p.m. at The Ale House (2531 N. 12th St., Grand Junction). The show is free and open to the public.

BARONS

The Navigators will perform on Friday, May 1, at 10 p.m. at Barons (539 Colorado Ave., Grand Junction). The show is free and open to ages 21 and older.

Kithkin will perform on Thursday, May 7, at 9:15 p.m. The show is free and open to ages 18 and older.

CHARLIE DWELLINGTON’s

A weekly blues jam is set for every Tuesday night at Charlie Dwellington’s (103 N. First St., Grand Junction) from 7-10 p.m. It includes open-play sessions and performances by the host band. The event is free.

The Oxymorons will perform on Friday, May 1, from 6-9 p.m. The show is free and open to all ages.

COLORADO mesa university

Colorado Mesa University’s Chamber and Women’s Choirs will combine for a spring concert on Thursday, May 7, at 7:30 p.m. It is set for Colorado Mesa University’s Moss Performing Arts Center, located at 1100 North Ave. in Grand Junction. Tickets cost $10 for adults, $8 for seniors and $5 for students.

COPPER CLUB BREWING COMPANY

Buzzard Swamp String Band will perform on Friday, May 1, at 7 p.m. at Copper Club Brewing Company (233 E. Aspen Ave., Fruita).

Rocky Mountain String Band will perform on Saturday, May 2, at 7 p.m.

The shows are free and open to the public.

CRUISERS BAR

Dave Mensch will perform at Cruisers Bar (715 Horizon Dr., Grand Junction) at 9:30 p.m. on Friday, May 1.

The Blue Gators will perform on Saturday, May 2, at 9:30 p.m.

The shows have a $5 cover and open to ages 21 and older.
