TRTC’s ‘Something Intangible’ opens tonight
Thunder River Theatre Company
The Thunder River Theatre Company opens its 2013 – 2014 season with “Something Intangible” by Bruce Graham. Humming with humor and brimming with humanity, “Something Intangible” is a thinly veiled play about the genius of Walt Disney, and reveals the remarkable ways brothers support each other, and the underlying theme of commerce vs. art. It opens Sept. 27. Performances continue Sept. 28, Oct. 4, 5, 6, 10, 11, 12.
“Something Intangible” is being directed and designed by Lon Winston, and features an ensemble of actors including TRTC’s David Pulliam, Valerie Haugen, Richard Lyon, and guest Chris Wheatley and Zeke Eagan. TRTC’s Brad Moore creates light and sound design, Olivia Savard stage manages, and costumes and props are coordinated by Diane Johnson.
“Something Intangible” won seven 2009 Barrymore Awards including Best New Play. Author Bruce Graham is flying in from Philadelphia for TRTC’s opening night and reception. He will be joining the director and actors on Saturday night, Sept. 28, for a special talk-back.
