Vail Mountain’s Epic Discovery opens for summer activities June 9

The Game Creek Canopy Tour takes Epic Discovery participants through Game Creek Bowl with a series of seven different zip lines that span more than 10,000 feet, including one aerial bridge. Epic Discovery, accessed from the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead, opens for the summer on Friday, June 9.

VAIL — Epic Discovery activities at Vail Mountain opens for daily operations on Friday, June 9.

In conjunction with the GoPro Mountain Games, Gondola One in Vail Village and the Eagle Bahn Gondola in Lionshead Village, accessing Epic Discovery, will be open at 9:30 a.m.

Epic Discovery opens at 10 a.m. with the Game Creek Zipline Tour; Holy Cross Adventure Course; Forest Flyer Mountain Coaster; Little Eagle Zipline; Pine Cone Adventure Course; and bungee trampoline.



The new Paramount Peak Climbing Wall is anticipated opening during the weekend, and Gore Creek mini golf located at the base of Lionshead Village will also open Friday.

Also beginning Friday, June 9, Vail Mountain’s new Kids Ride Free program will be offered for children 12 and younger, allowing them to ride for free with an adult.
