14th annual Human Services Awards
December 1, 2002Dear Human Service Provider or Interested Party:The Garfield County Human Services Commission and the Glenwood Springs Post Independent are proud to announce the 14th Annual Glenwood Springs Post Independent/Garfield County Humanitarian Service Awards. The awards will be given to individuals in the following categories:∑ Staff Award∑ Volunteer Award∑ Youth Award I am requesting nominations of any person associated with your organization whom you feel have given extraordinary time, talent, energy, resources, etc. to the betterment of their community and Garfield County. Please fill out the enclosed nomination form and describe why this person should be recognized for outstanding contributions to their community. Do not forget staff members. There are many staff members who go above and beyond the call of duty to perform their jobs. To motivate positive youth efforts, the committee would like you to consider nominating the individual youth in your community who deserve this type of recognition.Nominations must be received by Thursday, January 9, 2003, 5 pm.
