Working with the town board, elections, liquor licensing, public notification on land applications, human resources, cemetery – everything.When did you move to Garfield County and why? We moved here in 1998 because my husband got a job in Rifle. I’ve been in Colorado since 1980 – in Grand Junction and the Front Range before we moved here. We live in Rulison now.

First thing you’d do after winning the lottery? I’d probably contact my attorney (with a smile). I’d invest it so I could retire and I’d travel.Best vacation you’ve ever taken? Maui.What do you do in your spare time? Besides working around the house, we like to hike, fish and camp.Greatest accomplishment? I think working here (at Silt Town Hall). I started in the planning department and managed to move myself up to the position I’m in now, which I feel is of great importance to the citizens of Silt.Ever had a book movie or news event change your life? 9/11, definitely. That was a terrific upset in so many different ways.Best piece of advice you’ve ever received? My little sister told me before she died of cancer to “Be happy.” To live each day to the fullest.As a child, what did you want to be when you grew up? I’m still trying to figure that out. But for a lot of years when I was in school, I wanted to get into music – but I never did.

If you only had three TV channels, what would you watch? The history channel, the food channel and the oldies.If you could have any three people over for dinner, who would they be, what would you serve and what would you talk about? Robin Williams, Larry the Cable Guy and George Carlin. We would discuss getting along with other countries while having a good ol’ barbecue.Any tattoos? NoWhat’s the greatest invention of all time? Space technology – especially in regards to satellites.FavoritesMovie: “Casablanca” – we watch it at least once a year.
