19-year-old Glenwood resident dies Friday in traffic accident
SUMMIT COUNTY – A 19-year-old Glenwood Springs resident died Friday afternoon in a car accident on eastbound Interstate 70, according to the Summit County Coroner’s Office.
Macario Perez-Mellin died after riding in the passenger seat of a 2004 Honda van that rolled and landed on its roof around 3 p.m., causing “significant” roof intrusion into the passenger area, according to the Coroner’s office.
A toxicology test is pending.
